For the past eleven years, The Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland has hosted our Donate Life Family Fun Run in Baltimore to celebrate and honor the gifts of organ, eye, and tissue donation. Rain or shine, donor families, transplant recipients, waitlist candidates, and donation supporters come together to walk or run for our cause.

 

Due to the current pandemic of COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to transition our twelfth annual event to a virtual walk/run.* Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our participants and community. While we will not all be walking or running together, we hope you will join us for our FREE virtual event on Saturday, Sept. 26, to walk or run from wherever you are.

 

At its core, the Donate Life Family Fun Run is a day to stretch our legs in honor and celebration of those who give the gifts of life, healing, and hope. We hope that this year’s event will be no different. Our virtual event will still support many of our beloved traditions, such as teams and sharing personal stories about why donation and transplantation is so important. Thank you to everyone who makes this race so special year after year. We will share more details as we continue to plan for this year’s virtual event.
