We're making the Donate Life Family Fun Run experience virtual!

While we can't be together in person, we're hoping to make the 2021 Donate Life Family Fun Run just as meaningful as past years. We hope you'll join us for the virtual event kickoff online presentation where we will share stories and come together to celebrate organ, eye, and tissue donation.

We will have additional opportunities to engage as part of our virtual race, like sending in photos and videos from your own run/walk, sharing your customized team t-shirts, sharing your photos on social media (tag us @thellf), joining us for weekly Fun Run Fridays, and submitting your 5K run or walk time. This year we are also introducing some new Spirit Awards (more details here) and will have lots of fun giveaways to surprise some lucky registered participants throughout race weekend Sept. 25-26. You don't want to miss it! Register today.

Live-Streamed Online Presentation | Sept. 25 at 9 a.m. EST

We will host a live-streaming online presentation at 9 a.m. to kick off our virtual run/walk. Join us from wherever you are via Facebook or YouTube. You'll hear from our CEO, Charlie Alexander, as well as hear stories from transplant recipients and donor families. We will share dedication signs in honor and support of people impacted by donation and transplantation. We will highlight the many reasons people walk and run in support of donation and transplantation (submit your reason here!). We'll take a look at some of the beautiful customized t-shirts from participants in honor of their loved ones (submit your t-shirt here!). And we will have a fun warmup and National Anthem performance by our staff choir before everyone goes into their own neighborhoods to walk or run for this cause!

Fun Run Fridays

Fun Run Fridays | Every Friday (starting 8/20) at 12 p.m. EST

Every Friday leading up to Fun Run, starting Aug. 20, we will host "Fun Run Fridays" from The LLF Facebook page. Join us to hear all the updates about this year's virtual event including our t-shirt reveal, details on our Spirit Awards and giveaways, and how you can support our cause!

Race T-Shirt

Race T-Shirt

This year's race t-shirt is available for purchase for $20 during registration. For this year's t-shirt design, we wanted to acknowledge and celebrate both our home state of Maryland and the far-reaching virtual participation in the race. Being virtual means we can be joined by participants all over the state, the country, and even the world, to come together to support donation and transplantation.

All t-shirts will be mailed to participants either before or after the race. If you register before Sept. 5, 2021, we will mail your t-shirt so you should receive it before the race on 9/25. If you register after Sept. 5, you will receive your t-shirt after the virtual event.
